The museum, created in 1995, is managed by the Société d’histoire de Memramcook (SHM) which was founded in 1977 with the aim of preserving the Monument-Lefebvre. It is located in the former St. Joseph’s school, built in 1926.The museum has a few models: the former convent of the Congregation Notre-Dame du Sacré-Coeur, founded in Memramcook in 1924, the former Collège Saint-Joseph before the 1933 fire and the former college farm. There are also many artifacts of everyday life from the 19th and 20th centuries, clothes, children’s toys, etc. Photo albums of local people and houses are available for viewing. There are also mosaics of the high school graduates and a documentation and archives center for genealogical research.
