Located in a heritage house in Port Elgin, NB, the Monro Heritage Museum features exhibits depicting the history and heritage of the local region now known as Strait Shores. An old farm kitchen, vintage furniture, an authentic recreation of a blacksmith’s force, scale model of old Fort Monckton – including artifacts unearthed at that local site – are but a few of the museum’s displays – as well as many old photos from throughout the region.
